I need to address an issue I encountered during the event. I specifically paid for a seat in Row A to have a good view, but unfortunately, someone stood directly in front of me for the entire duration, blocking my view of the stage. Additionally, I noticed that the staff added another row in front of Row A, which was not mentioned in the seating plan on the website. This alteration really affected my experience, especially since I paid extra for that chair. Overall, I’m quite disappointed with how this was handled.
This is such a gem of a historic spot! I’ve been here many times for speaking engagements and local Pasadena Symphony performances. It’s an intimate yet grand space that seats about 1,100, so there isn’t a bad seat in the house. Being tucked away in the Ambassador Gardens gives it a special, one-of-a-kind feel, and the acoustics are truly world-class. It’s a unique experience that has made every event feel memorable.
I came here to have a Bridgerton theme tea picnic. Found that the area is part of the HOA of the condos nearby, but no one came to ask us to leave. The place is perfect for a walk. You can bring your dogs and explore the area. There's beautiful trees, water ponds with fishes, and gazebos. Really the perfect place for a photoshoot. Make sure to bring mosquito repellent and street parking can be limited on St John's St.
Great space for music. Pasadena Symphony keeps beautiful orchestral music alive, Plus commissioned work of Juan Pablo Contreras premiere of " My Great Dream. Dvorak Symphony No. 9 and opened with Bernstein Three Dance Variations.
Beautiful Auditorium in Pasadena with good acoustics and surrounded by well kept gardens. My few observations are: first, parking is very limited so you need to park at the adjacent Wells Fargo building which can be challenging getting in and out; and secondly, the seats are not designed for tall people. Nevertheless, I’ll be happy to come back and watch more shows because this really is a good venue and close to good restaurants.
